In the normal battery condition, the Chemical reaction inside these batteries are consumed so fast, thus after it's consumption the battery is thrown away and disposed, this type of batteries is called the elementary batteries, the elementary batteries are very expensive and cannot be used to produce a high electric voltage. thus came the need to make a new type of battery that can stay longer and produce much greater current and be reusable whenever the chemical reaction is consumed. this type of battery is called a secondary cell battery.

The S.C. Battery composite of 2 plates of zinc immersed in a Sulfuric acid solution and when the electric current is let throw the two immersed zinc plates, a chemical reaction take place and the sulfuric acid becomes is condensed and the electric current is let throw the two battery zinc plates to form an electric charge. after the battery is charged it could be connected to an electric circuit and enable it to work, by connecting the DC terminals the Anode and the Cathode but only in this case the battery chemical components are not consumed so fast otherwise it could be recharged after consumption and become reusable again. thus the battery is not generating the electricity unless being charged with an electric current in order to store it for later use, and the Efficiency "e" of the battery is the amount of the electric input divided by electrical output e= electric output/electric input.

The secondary cell battery is used in the cars since the cars since 1920s and before this the car used to initiate by a handy crankshaft that should be spin by hand for more than 2 times to make the car work, but after that the batteries provided cars with many functions like air condition, gauges, car doors and digital reading panels later on. and the car is equipped with a dynamo which is functioning as a charger for the battery, it's tide to the motor with a rubber belt and it spins with it in a rational speed that allows it to generate power and give it back to the battery.
The challenge now that is facing batteries industry in general is to invent new batteries lighter and provide more electric charge and in the same time stay is use per one time for longer period.
