POWER DISTRIBUTION NETWORKS.

Dry batteries are very expensive and unusable in large projects like production factories or home energy supply. the battery will eventually collapse due to the consumption of its chemical reactions and won't be usable after a specific period of time.
Power distribution network.

if the dry batteries were used to supply our homes  It will be very expensive and the space dedicated to its presence in our homes will be large.  the exchange solution for this issue is the power distribution networks, which consists of two component, the power source, and the power distribution & transmission cables. the voltage carried by the cables is very high approximately 400,000 volts or 220,000 volts.
Consumption counter.

 The Carrying power cable hanged on poles like which we observe when we travel from city to city, The high voltage power cables deliver the electricity to a branch transformer which by its turn decreases the voltage to a much smaller amount suitable to be used for homes and buildings, each branch transformer is designed for the place it resides.
Alternating Current Plot.

 the current carried by the cables are always an alternative current, almost all countries use an alternating current to distribute power to buildings and projects, which means the voltage (the pushing force) goes up and down and not fixed as in the direct current. The reason to use alternating current is its flexibility to reshape the voltage in the transformers by increasing or decreasing it as needed for destination use.

 The voltage usage is measured by counters reside at every consumption point terminal, like houses, buildings, plants, and hospitals. the counters measure the consumption of kilowatt per hour. for example, if you used a 2-kilowatt electric heater for an hour the consumption counter will increase the reading by 2 Kilowatt. the power supply company will charge you for the consumption for a month or per year as you contracted and the charge will be on the amount consumed per kilowatt.
Power supplied plant.

 The power distribution scheme consists of the main power source which might be a power plant like nuclear fusion plant or a natural power source like hydroelectric waterfall stations, the power then crosses the cables to meet with a distribution point, then distribution tower, circuit breaker, transformer, circuit breaker, supply network then your house electricity consumption counter.The price of electricity depends on several factors. Most of the time, the price of electricity is affected by the time when electricity is consumed, whether it is day or night, and the nighttime use of electricity is usually cheaper than daily use, and therefore sometimes used heaters at night and radiate heat during the day.
